My childhood trauma is the day I bought a new pair of jeans for middle school but forgot to remove the size sticker, thus earning me the nickname “36 Wide.” I share this because finding humor in embarrassing moments is a survival skill. It's also become the foundation of my career.Vulnerability and honesty are the keys to great writing. They help create an emotional connection with the audience. That’s what I do in a nutshell: write compelling, funny, outrageous, human stories that real people relate to. (Sorry, AI.) This approach has served me well as writer across multiple industries. Meanwhile, my classmates started billion-dollar companies like Instagram and Patreon.After graduation I worked in tech as an employee at Facebook. I left just before my stocks vested.
