My childhood trauma is the day I bought a new pair of jeans for middle school but forgot to remove the size sticker, thus earning me the nickname “36 Wide.” I share this because finding humor in embarrassing moments is a survival skill. It's also become the foundation of my career.Vulnerability and honesty are the keys to great writing—they help create an emotional connection with the audience. And that’s what I do in a nutshell: write real stories that connect with people, no matter the medium. This approach has served me well as writer across multiple industries. Meanwhile, my classmates started billion-dollar companies like Instagram and Patreon.After graduation I worked in tech as an employee at Facebook. I left just before my stocks vested.
